 Unique Employment Opportunity For Dog Lovers!

Camp Jimmydog LLC has been providing cage-free boarding and daycare in a home environment since 2006. 

We are looking for someone to fill a Live-in Position at one of our locations.

What do we mean “live in position”? Each location has an employee (and sometimes their spouse or partner) that resides in the home and cares for the dogs there. Additional info below.

Requirements:

  • A solid base in working with dogs. (Not just your family pet) Experience including, dog training & behavior, pack and playgroup experience and behavioral analysis
  • Let’s not forget their people! Excellent customer service skills

  • Attention to detail
  • Strong observational skills
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Ability to maintain a clean, clutter free, organized and welcoming home. 
  • Ability to maintain outdoor areas including yard work.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

This is a live-in position that cares for our 4-legged guests during their stay.

  • Engaging in activities with the dogs
  • Feeding and administering medications
  • Cuddles
  • Nail trims and basic baths
  • Keeping the pack happy and safe

This position also interacts with our guests owners.

  • Handle drop offs & pick ups
  • Perform new client Meet & Greets/Dog Behavioral Evaluations
  • Client communication and updates on guests while there
  • Admin and scheduling

You will be living in a single family home.

  • You will be expected to treat it as you would your own home
  • Assist in upkeep and maintenance of the home and yard.

 

Compensation: 

This position can somewhat be tailored to the abilities and experience level of the right candidate. Compensation will vary depending on the individual. There is room for growth as the client base for the location grows as well as your responsibilities within the company. This position has the potential to grow into management of the business and all of it’s locations.

Compensation Includes:

  • Salary 25k to 30k yearly
  • Housing – You will live in this locations single family home (rent free)
  • Utilities (electric, water, gas)
  • Internet service
  • Trash service

Please be aware, several in-person interviews will be required.

If you have a dog (who doesn’t?) your dog will also need to be seen “in-person” for an evaluation. While this can be a great environment for many dogs, it’s not right for all.

Due to safety concerns, NO Cats or other small pets NO children. Some of our guests may not be used to or good with either.
